When technology is a friend to winter
Technological innovations, ongoing research and development of clean snowmaking systems are more crucial these days than ever before. They guarantee not only perfect ski slopes, but also the life and future of ski areas and winter tourism in general.
These days, anyone who talks about “artificial” snow is surely mistaken. Rather, it’s correct to speak of “technical” snow – that is snow made only of water and air, just like natural snow, without any chemical additives.

The water comes from our mountains, is slowly collected over the summer in our own storage basins and is transformed into snow. It then becomes water again, in accordance with the unaltered natural cycle. Fans and nozzles are used to produce technical snow, simulating the crystallisation of flakes falling from the sky.
To use the fans, you need a pipe. The nozzles, meanwhile, work well at a distance of up to 10 meters from the ground. In both cases, our ski slopes employ the latest generation high-tech systems, guaranteeing programmed snow coverage on nearly all of our ski slopes.
